Examination Centres : In West Bengal, Tripura (Agartala), Assam (Silchar) only.
Age Restriction : Candidates must be at least 17 (seventeen) years of age or above on 31.12.2015. There is no upper age limit except for the Marine Engineering Course for which upper age limit is 25 years as 31.07.2015. For Medical / Dental Courses, Candidate must be at least 17 (seventeen) years of age or above on 31.12.2015. There is no upper age limit.

Important Eligibility Criteria for Engineering : General candidates must secure at least 45% marks in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology taken together (40% for SC/ST/PWD/OBC candidates) and at least 30% marks in English (for all categories) in 10 + 2.
